Yes, I'm a writer.
Great, we might just need your help.

We've got our own team of writers here in The Borough. But every now and then we still need an extra pair of hands.

It might be that we need a writer who specialises in aeronautics or biochemistry. Or maybe a project calls for someone who can understand Mandarin and Swahili. (We've got Russian, French, Spanish, Afrikaans and Québécois covered already.) And sometimes we just need some good, solid writers to help us when we've got loads on.

Sound like you?
If you'd like to join our ranks of writers waiting in the wings, just whiz through the questions below and hit ‘Go'. You'll get an email from us right away to confirm you're on our books. Then if a job comes up that we think is right up your street, we'll be in touch (we can't promise anything, though).

Already on our books?
Check or update your details.

Tell us a bit about the kind of writing you're good at, and why? 200 words tops.*
We're looking for:
Your strengths and weaknesses (in the unlikely event that you might actually have any weaknesses).
The type of work you're after.
Any top brands or agencies you've worked for. Namedrop.

Here's an example:

"I am a former print and broadcast journalist turned corporate writer. I have worked on editorial strategy with Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Intro, totallylegal.com and the launch of the Ford Focus for Imagination.

I can work with any team helping clients identify an appropriate marketing strategy. And I can help supply the tone of voice, planning, research and words to deliver agreed results. I will also make tea and coffee. I like Marmite."

Please don't agonise over this bit - it won't go to clients. It just gives us a clearer idea of your background and the type of work you're looking for.
